It is currently raining – actually pouring down in buckets up in North Miami-Dade County and into Broward County on this Friday afternoon. But here in Homestead it is still bone dry. This is our 12TH day in a row with absolutely no rain whatsoever (0.00), and since the official start of the South Florida ‘dry season’ on November 01ST only a mere inch and a quarter has fallen over Homestead ARB over the past 100 days.
Can some of that heavy rain just 30 miles to the north of us reach us down here in Homestead ? The answer is no. It’s headed in the opposite direction; however, I am forecasting occasional showers for Homestead during the day tomorrow (Saturday) as a cold front approaches. Once the front eases through late on Saturday night any chance of rain comes to a screeching halt. Sunday looks slightly cooler and dryer for us. It should be a perfect day for a picnic over at Homestead Bayfront Park !

Speaking of the weather….
The weather here in Texas has been GLORIOUS recently. Saturday, Christina and I went to the big mall in Frisco to go shopping. It was so nice outside, that we decided to eat lunch at one of OUR (Yours and Mine)favorite restaurants- The Cheesecake Factory! We ate out on their outdoor patio, as it was 70 degrees, sunny, and not a cloud in the sky. I’ll have you know that I had the delicious VANILLA BEAN CHEESECAKE for dessert! YUMMMMAYY!!
Andddddd with that…apparently it is going to rain and be frigid here starting tomorrow. =(
ENJOY the upper-20s on Wednesday morning !
I feel sorry for my poor thermostat at home. It must feel so conflicted and confused. One minute it is blasting cool AC air, and the next it is blasting warm hot air.
