Gas prices here in Homestead are currently at all-time record highs – generally from the mid-$3.30s to the high-$3.40s. You can complain all you want, but you should also keep in mind that some of the cheapest gas in the world can be found right here in the U.S. All of our European friends are paying more than double and nearly triple what we pay for the same amount of gas. Comparatively gas is a bargain down under in Australia. In Sydney the equivalent of a gallon of gas costs only about U.S. $5.15.

Are you looking for cheap gas ? Look no further than a large swath of eastern Wyoming and the New Jersey side of the New York City metro area for gas that hasn’t quite reached $3.00 per gallon (yet).
The ‘expensive’ gas – over $3.53 per gallon – can be found throughout much of California.
