1. When Anne J. pulled up to the front door and she got out and opened the doors and trunk to her car it looked like she was moving away with all of her most prized possessions. It was stuffed solid with extra special goodies in support of our Mother’s Day shindig this morning at Life Pointe Church.
2. Two cool dudes performed smooth jazz music LIVE in our main lobby for over 3 hours this morning (with limited breaks). It was a nice touch to the overall ambience. I’d like to see them back with us in the near future. Serving The Lord is fun when you’ve got a LIVE jazz band supporting you !
3. Bill Finch and his band totally rocked the theatre this morning with awesome uplifting music that had everyone up on their feet and singing, dancing, and clapping in unison. I personally didn’t know any of the songs that they performed (aside from “Amazing Grace”), but that didn’t stop me from praising and worshipping Him with everyone else. That’s why the words appear on the big screen !
4. Pastor Travis wore a nice suit this morning. If you don’t attend our church then you’re probably thinking, ‘And your point is ?’ It’s MASSIVE for Trav because of what he usually wears to service on any other typical Sunday morning. His ‘Sunday Best’ gave him an extra spring to his step as he delivered this week’s teaching on God and whose side He’s on. Is He on our side ? Is He not on our side ? How’s this for a response – Get on God’s side if you aren’t already there. God is always relevant whether you are on His side or not. God is always praised and worshipped whether you are on His side or not. Creation worships God. We are full of sin whether we admit it or not. God is always perfect. Together we create a revolutionary force !
5. Philippians 4:13 (NLT, 2ND Ed.) states – ‘For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.’ I choose not to wait until I’m perfect before I start being more vocal as to whose side I’m on, for I will never be perfect. There is only one who is almighty enough to ever be perfect, and He is God. I am so on His side !

What happened no bedtime story?
I spent the evening at Travis and Kelly’s house yesterday, and then I returned home and went to bed. I’ll have a fresh new Monday night edition of the ‘Bedtime Stories’ for you later tonight !
Mother’s Day at Life-Pointe was truly awesome! So many things going on with chocolate fountains and lots of things to dip, juice, coffee, bagles, gifts, great service, fantastic praise and worship music. I truly felt the presence of God in our House! The woman were fantastic, working to have everything perfect for our Mom’s. I set up the coffee and cream and sugar, as Lesia was visiting her Mom. My first time setting up, and a little hectic, but loved it, and the guys helped, bless them. Marcela helped, then Evelyn came. Our hospitality team is fantastic and blessed by our Lord. It truly is an honor to serve. I love it. And, Anne J. is great at organizing and doing.
Also want to thank Travis for wearing a suit as an honor to all Mom’s. He was very handsome! Also Gene was handsome too! Thanks guys! We gals appreciate the efforts. If I missed anyone, sorry, and thanks!
