We are so very dry aqui en el Sur de Florida, so any bit of rain would certainly be welcome rain. It appears that the next 4 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will be wet days for us. This rain will be caused by a strong warm front moving through the area from the south and east followed by a strong cold front approaching us from the north and west. Expect showers and thunderstorms – some of them quite heavy at times – to impact us day and night through Sunday morning. At this time I am forecasting up to 4 inches of rain over the next 4 days. After the 4-day rain event expect much cooler and dryer air to arrive just in time for the new work week on Monday. Early morning temperatures could drop into the mid-50s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning with possibly some mid-to-upper-40s north and west of Homestead in the Redland and out in the Everglades.

So where did the rain go??????????
It starts tonight. Be patient.
Again where did the rain go? Not here.
All of the rain went up to the Lake Okeechobee region (where it is desperately needed). It’s been pouring down for hours up there with over 2 inches already on the ground !
As for Homestead I so totally got this weather forecast wrong, and I’m not afraid to admit it either. I know what went wrong, and why the rain went north.
How’s this for a bold new forecast:
UPPER-40s where you live on both Monday and Tuesday morning ! BRRRR !
Oh if only we were so lucky!!!!;)
Heard a nice time was had on Wednesday I was so happy about that.
YES we did Fellowship for our final Life Group of 2007. We ate lots of food, and then we played a spirited game of ‘Taboo’ (a board game that Venus brought). It was a lot of fun !
