The Fortune Cookie Message Of The Week Club

‘The night life is for you.’

NO – Not even !  As if !

I’m a morning person, and I’ve always been a morning person ever since I was a little kid. No matter what day of the week it is – if it’s 6 AM and I’m still sleeping – then I’ve overslept. I’d be wasting daylight rather than chasing it. That’s not a good thing !

10 PM is typically bedtime for me; hence, no night life for me.

Yo Chris, maybe that message was meant for me. I am a natural night owl. Odd, because I also found out that I am a natural morning person too. I get up at 4 AM on work days and about 6 am on my off days. I prefer to be awake as much as possible. That’s a big change from my younger days. Ask my mom and dad if you don’t believe me! 🙂

The one downside to being an exuberant morning person (at work particularly) is that about an hour or two following a MASSIVE Lunch I start getting tired – right around the same time of the day as some of my fellow co-workers (who are not morning people) are just getting started (as far as being alert and coherent). It’s as if I’m working within a different time zone.
