Sunday Scripture

Greetings my friends. It is Sunday December 31ST 2023, and this is the day that our LORD has made. Let us rejoice. Let us be glad in it. Let us celebrate this great new day of believing, following, trusting, loving, and being more like our Lord + Savior Jesus Christ. Let us love our neighbor as ourself.

It is the last day of 2023, and this is my 186TH and final blog post of the year. That’s actually the least amount of blog posts in a year since 2018. It’s down because I eliminated my #RetroFriday posts in May. I’ll be back in 2024 (starting tomorrow) for my regularly-scheduled #TravelThursday, #SundayScripture, and #MusicMonday posts – with occasional special Tuesday and Wednesday posts.

I thank you all for reading my blog each week. I’ll continue writing it as long as you continue reading it. And I’ll continue to respect your time. Each of my blog posts can be read in less than 4 minutes.

The old – 2023 – has passed on. It’s behind us. We can’t do anything about it. What’s said is said. What’s done is done. But behold – the new creation – 2024 – has come. The Lord said, “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold – I am doing a new thing.” Our God said, “I am making all things new.”

2023 was a great and life-changing year for me. Miracles occurred. Dreams came true. But I know that God will lead me to an even greater 2024, as I continue to move closer to Him. I pray that 2024 is a greater year for you as well.

My testimony is featured here each week on #SundayScripture whether it’s part of a sermon, or just me writing about the events of the past week. Hopefully it encourages you and inspires you to seek the Lord, and get closer to Him with each new day.

If you wish to learn more about the God I know then stay tuned to #SundayScripture. The best is yet to come !

Thank you for reading my blog for this day, and may:

The LORD bless you, and keep you.
The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. AMEN.
