Buffalo Bills At Washington Redskins

This Sunday afternoon at 1 PM EST the (5-6) Buffalo Bills roll into FedExField in Landover Maryland to take on my beloved original hometown (5-6) Washington Redskins.

My Redskins are mourning the devastating loss of Sean Taylor, so this will be a very emotional game for them. They will honour his memory before the game, and they will wear a No. 21 logo on their helmets.

The Redskins are 3-2 at home so far this season, and 2-1 against AFC East teams (beating the Dolphins and the Jets, and losing badly to the Patriots).

Both the Redskins and the Bills lost in Florida last Sunday. The Redskins lost 19-13 to the Buccaneers in Tampa, and the Bills lost to the Jaguars 36-14 in Jacksonville.

The Redskins are 5½ to 6 point favourites at home with an over-under of 37 points. That would roughly equate to a score of Redskins 21 Bills 16. I’ll go with this prediction:

Redskins 37 Bills 12

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS !

Casavana Cuban Cuisine

There’s a new place to eat Cuban food aqui en el este de Homestead, and they must serve some delicious meals allí porque the parking lot directly in front of the place always seems to be crammed solid – just like it was a las ocho on this beautiful Saturday morning.

A friend of mine on-base recently stated that she came, she saw, and she conquered un desayuno grande for less than cinco dólares. She gave rave reviews of the place.

I must check it out sometime !  If you’ve already been there then let me know what you think of it.

Blogging God

The Beginning

Genesis 1:1-5 (NLT) – In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was empty, a formless mass cloaked in darkness. And the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that it was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night”. Together these made up one day.

The beautiful light of God is now shining down on the dawn of this blog. It’s morning again. May God bless this blog with all that He can and all that He will. May God bless all of Man and Woman who discover, value, and treasure this blog. May God allow me to further strengthen my presence on His fantastic journey via the words and spirit of this blog. May we all walk together in unison and follow The Lord Almighty until we each reach our ultimate destination – our grande return to our Maker in the heavens above. I pray for all of this in the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
