Friday Night Blogroll Review

It’s Friday night my friends, so you know what that means – only one more night until the ‘Saturday Night Retro’. Tomorrow night we’re jumping from 1979 Disco to 1989 Electronica, and we’re gonna dance just like I did out on that dancefloor back when I was 22.

Meanwhile, I’ve got this for you:

Here’s what Travis wants to see happen for Life Pointe Church.

Blake loves to eat raw potatoes.

LL Phil J ‘The Citizen Cane’ presents his Thursday Thoughts that are quite ‘Splashy’.

See Jesse animated.

Diego won’t be getting a haircut anytime soon.

Billy is watching Hurricane Sarah.

So yeah Ritz did like pretty decent on his recent math test. Yeahzzz !

First it was Phil – now it’s Rebecca who has branded her own version of my ‘Tuesday Night Grab Bag O’ Thoughts’. It’s called ‘Zip-Zap-Zop’.

Happy (Belated) Birthday Luci !

Happy Anniversary Nathan & Harmony !

Keep on blogging like crazy my friends !

The Good Vs. Bad Chronicles: Publix

GOOD ! – I did my semimonthly grocery shopping at Publix this afternoon. I found virtually everything that I was looking for – and more !

BAD ! – People kept getting in my way even though the store was not even close to being busy or crowded. Why are the few people always hovering around me ?

GOOD ! – Dude !  A & W Root Beer is on sale !  That’s like never on sale !  I totally dig that groove !  Publix – Where Saving Is Part Of The Pleasure.

BAD ! – My checkout cashier was totally inattentive. I won’t go into gory details, but she clearly needed to take a break and wake up from her daydream.

GOOD ! – This shocked me. My groceries were actually carted out to my car for me and placed into my trunk. This used to occur on a nearly always basis over at Homestead‘s original Publix (on Useless-One), but it’s only been done a few times at the Oasis Plaza Publix since they’ve been open. (It’s never happened at the Waterstone Plaza Publix.)
