Bedtime Stories

Greetings Friends. It’s time for the 30TH edition of the ever-so-popular ‘Bedtime Stories’ series here on this blog. ‘Bedtime Stories’ is kind of like my version of ‘The Tonight Show‘ – a long-running staple that you can always depend on to be there with a fresh new edition on most nights.

The ‘Life Pointe Church Sunday Morning Tossed Salad’ is pretty much my ‘Meet The Press‘ on here. If it’s Sunday – then it’s ‘Tossed Salad’ day !

I’m not the only dude that recaps his Sunday morning experiences at Life Pointe Church. Pastor Travis created the concept. Check out his ‘Sunday Wrap-Up’. Trav’s real bro Phil (P.J.) has run with his ‘Sunday Life Pointe Talk Soup’ for 5 weeks now. And then there’s the ‘Ritz Crackah‘ who has his ‘Sunday Goosfaba’. (‘Goosfaba’ is a variation of ‘Goosfraba’ which is an Eskimo word that was made famous in the 2003 box office smash ‘Anger Management‘.)

I’ll be back at work bright and early tomorrow morning to kick-off a fresh new week at my job. I’m making it a special point to get away from the base during the Lunch hour to finally get a haircut and then to eat Chinese Food for Lunch. Be sure to check out ‘The Fortune Cookie Message Of The Week Club’ tomorrow (Monday) afternoon.

Saturday Night Checklist

1.  Get all dressed up for an evening of all-night clubbing with Nathan in Weston.

2.  Get all dressed up for a fond farewell dinner at the base for the Chief of the building that I work at.  CHECK !

3.  When I return home late tonight watch a 6-hour marathon that I have on tape of a week’s worth of “Monday Night Raw”, “ECW”, and “Friday Night Smackdown”.

4.  When I return home late tonight get a good night of restful sleep in preparation for tomorrow morning at Life Pointe Church. Blatant Plug:  Be sure to catch an all-new edition of the ‘Life Pointe Church Sunday Morning Tossed Salad’ tomorrow at a special later time on Sunday night here on this blog.

5.  Bring my stapled, collated, and binded 24-page dissertation with me to Travis‘s house tomorrow afternoon on how to improve upon the ‘Moonlight Easter Egg Hunt’ for 2009.

6.  Bring my simple list of 10 items of interest with me to Travis’s house tomorrow afternoon.

Friday Night Blogroll Review

It’s Friday Night friends, so let’s get it all started:

Travis is doing quite a bit of traveling during this month of April.

Phil (or as I like to refer to him – P.J. – because that sounds cooler) presented his ‘Chunked Thoughts’ on a Thursday. It’s the funnest 3 minutes of reading this week on any blog other than my own.

Blake loves to eat !

Jesse is getting ready for his 29TH birthday. For some reason I thought he was younger than that – like 25 or 26.

Luciana is looking forward to serving with me at the Kids Life Registration table on Sunday morning. It’s going to be fun !

Bedtime Stories

Greetings Friends this is ‘Bedtime Stories’ on this Thursday night – brought to you by the new 1959 Chevrolet Station Wagon !

This is the 4TH and final blog entry for this day. 4 blog entries in a single day is my self-imposed maximum limit. I’ve done that on many days since this blog started, and I’ve never gone past that limit. I figure that if I’m posting 5 (or more) blog entries in a single day then I’m probably spending way too much time on my computer !  😉

It’s another hard day at work for me tomorrow, but the cool thing is that it’s Pay Day Friday, and the final day of the work week. I’ve got a busier than normal weekend planned. On Saturday night I’ll be dressed up in near-formal attire for the night. Maybe I’ll get myself into some pictures so that I can post some of them on here so that all of you can see what I look like when I try hard enough to look the very best.
