It’s Sunday October 11TH 2020, and this is the day that our LORD has made. Let us rejoice. Let us be glad in it. Let us praise and worship and celebrate Christ our Savior on this day – and on every day that He blesses us with.
It’s Pastor Appreciation Month, and on this 2ND Sunday of October it’s specifically Pastor Appreciation Day. Church families all around the world will honor their Pastor(s) today. We will do so at my church – Living Waters Full Gospel Church. I love my Pastor of the past 5½ years, and he has led me well with knowledge and understanding of God’s Truth. He has allowed me to minister and preach to our church family every week, and he has encouraged me to spread the Gospel and evangelize to the world.

I’ve been blessed as a Minister for almost 11 years now. I was given the opportunity to start hosting and leading Sunday morning services 11 years ago this month at my previous church, and I seized the opportunity. I enjoyed my time on stage there, and I was surrounded by some great leaders including my former Lead Pastor and his Mom and Dad. I grew exponentially during that time from a baby Christian to a church leader.
You have to stay humble when you lead a church, and never get comfortable. If you’re too comfortable then you’re not trying hard enough. It’s all about God first – and then it’s about your brothers and sisters of your church family. You must care for them. You must lead them well. You must guide and direct them towards Christ.
Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work, and build up the church – the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord – measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
