Friday Night Blogroll Review

It’s Friday Night friends, so let’s get it all started:

Travis is doing quite a bit of traveling during this month of April.

Phil (or as I like to refer to him – P.J. – because that sounds cooler) presented his ‘Chunked Thoughts’ on a Thursday. It’s the funnest 3 minutes of reading this week on any blog other than my own.

Blake loves to eat !

Jesse is getting ready for his 29TH birthday. For some reason I thought he was younger than that – like 25 or 26.

Luciana is looking forward to serving with me at the Kids Life Registration table on Sunday morning. It’s going to be fun !

Nathan explains how ‘God Is Causing Accidents In Weston’.

Nathan & Harmony’s son is quite the abstract artist, and he also likes to throw colourful parties.

Bedtime Stories

Greetings Friends this is ‘Bedtime Stories’ on this Thursday night – brought to you by the new 1959 Chevrolet Station Wagon !

This is the 4TH and final blog entry for this day. 4 blog entries in a single day is my self-imposed maximum limit. I’ve done that on many days since this blog started, and I’ve never gone past that limit. I figure that if I’m posting 5 (or more) blog entries in a single day then I’m probably spending way too much time on my computer !  😉

It’s another hard day at work for me tomorrow, but the cool thing is that it’s Pay Day Friday, and the final day of the work week. I’ve got a busier than normal weekend planned. On Saturday night I’ll be dressed up in near-formal attire for the night. Maybe I’ll get myself into some pictures so that I can post some of them on here so that all of you can see what I look like when I try hard enough to look the very best.

Be sure to catch the blog in action tomorrow afternoon. I’ve got the ‘Friday Night Blogroll Review’ in full effect featuring some of the best blog entries of this past week from some of my favourite bloggers that are near and dear to me and this blog. Please remember that there is to be no wagering as to which specific blog entries and bloggers will make the hot list.

Have a safe and peaceful Thursday night everyone, and until we hang out again on here remember this:

Yes, Fun To See !  Fun To Drive !  Fun To Buy !
The New Chevrolet !

Good Night Everyone !  Good Night Jesse !

Bedtime Stories

Good Evening Friends it’s time for a quick late-night edition of the ‘Bedtime Stories’ on this glorious Wednesday night.

I just got home from Life Group at J.T.’s and Anne’s house. Food, Fellowship, and God. That’s how we roll on Wednesday nights, and it all leads back to Him – The Lord Almighty – Up Above. There is no other bigger, better, and more powerful than Him. We believe. We receive. We have taken Jesus at His word. We have accepted His control of our Life. We are acting in obedience to His instructions. It is all about Him.

Pastor Paul left a voice mail for me at home this afternoon while I was at work. He told me to call him as soon as possible. I did so as soon as I got home. He had an interesting and exciting opportunity that he wants to share with me later this month. I’m 100% sure that I want to take advantage of this incredible experience to further my progression on God’s fantastic journey, and I’m about 90% sure that I can take a few days off from work to do it. I’ll find out for sure tomorrow at work when I complete a leave form and turn it in to my supervisour. If he accepts and approves it then I’m there !

Be sure to catch this blog in action tomorrow afternoon. I’ve got your ‘Thursday Night Internet Hoax Hall-Of-Shame’ for you sometime after 4 PM. It’s a common bathroom product that kills germs dead, but can it also kill blood-sucking mosquitoes dead on contact ?  We’ll find out together tomorrow !

Until then I wish you all a safe and peaceful Wednesday night. A new day arrives in the morning, and it’s another glorious opportunity to chase that daylight and seize every moment that comes your way. Do it all for Him.

Good Night Everyone !  Good Night Kristina M. !

Tuesday Night Grab Bag O’ Thoughts

It’s Tuesday night, and all of the loyal fans of this blog are anxiously awaiting the TOP 10 items (in no particular order) that are on my mind right this very minute. I’m not one to let you all down:

1.  I made a special guest appearance late this morning at the Life Pointe Church offices. It was announced beforehand. I have learned that it’s good to do that because if I arrive unannounced then I could find the offices closed, locked, and vacated for the winter. It was fun to hang out and laugh with Anne J. (hard at work on her computer), P.J. (lingering around on his day off from work), Marcela (hanging out with P.J.), and Paul (taking a break from his desk). Travis, Jesse, and Alex were busy computing / blogging / preparing for next Sunday morning.

2.  Last week was my one-year-anniversary as a Life Pointe Church blogger. That’s when I posted my very first comment on Travis’s blog a full two months before I even created my own blog over on MySpace (the predecessor to this blog).

3.  If you’re trying to figure out how the Democrats will mess up the upcoming 2008 Presidential elections for themselves then look no further than the continuing damaging war of words between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

4.  Chelsea Clinton recently stated that ‘the world will breathe a sigh of relief when this President (Bush) is gone’. I didn’t know that Chelsea had made herself a spokesperson for the world. I think that the terrorists will breathe a sigh of relief if John McCain isn’t our next President. They are waiting for us to retreat and surrender from Iraq. John McCain won’t let that happen.

5.  I drove to work early this morning in a driving rain storm that began as I approached the Keys Gate area along North Canal Drive and pretty much ended as I pulled in to my parking space at work. It was a nice treat for my car – a free wash.

6.  I’ve become a creature of habit. Now that the east side of Homestead pretty much has everything that I want and need (with much more coming soon) that is pretty much where I hang for days, weeks, and even months at a time. Sometimes it’s even a treat for me to merely venture across U.S. 1 to the west side of town !

7.  If given the choice between a basket of boneless chicken wings and original boned chicken wings I’d go with the wings with the bones still intact. They taste better to me. A large part of the fun of eating wings is eating off of the bone. The fun is taken away with the boneless variety.

8.  I’m not much into April Fools jokes; however, I did re-enlist in the Air Force for my second four-year term on this date back in 1989. My supervisour at the time asked me to pick a date that I’d like to take the oath again, and I – without hesitation – selected April Fools Day 1989. The joke is on everyone from that era a long time ago. My 23-year Air Force career continues at the base in Homestead.

9.  I’m not one to wish bad things on other people, but if you’re going to drive over MASSIVE speedbumps at the same exact speed as you are driving in-between them then you just deserve four flat tires or alignment that’s out-of-whack. I also get a kick out of motorists that take their vehicle off-road into the grass or over a curb just to avoid stopping at a red light before making a right-hand turn.

10.  I need a haircut. It’s windy outside, and I’m starting to look like this dude again:
