When I arrive at my workplace building early tomorrow morning I’ll observe and celebrate my 11TH anniversary of the rebirthing of my USAF career.
It was on Monday July 30TH 2007 when I was escorted by my longtime supervisor at the time about 1,000 feet down the road to my new building, new supervisor, new coworkers, and new job. It was the end of the worst 13 years of my career (and life), and the start of the best 11 years of my career (and life).
It’s what I prayed to God about the most during my first year of salvation. I turned it over to God, and I waited for Him to lead me out of the mud and mire – and down the road.
I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair – out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground, and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing – a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. (Psalm 40:1-3 NLT)
God is in the miracle business, and I believe in His miracles. I’ve been the recipient of His miracles since the beginning. I have proof of His miracles. My proof is in my testimony.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
