Sunday Scripture

Greetings my friends. It is Sunday May 16TH 2021, and this is the day that our LORD has made. Let us rejoice. Let us be glad in it. Let us continue to move forward towards the bright light of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

This weekend I hope to finish writing my next sermon that I hope to preach to my church family in the coming weeks on the good Kings Uzziah and Jotham of the land of Judah. They were Father and Son, and they were even Kings at the same time – sharing a coregency for about 11 years. I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned about them from the Bible.

I also want to get started on writing my next sermon after that – tentatively titled “Salvation & Hope”.

“Well there you go again Reverend Chris – preaching about that salvation !”

My next sermon after next will begin a new message series on the Apostle Peter – starting with his first letter. The first 12 verses are all about salvation from Christ, and how great it is.

This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. (1 Peter 1:10 NLT)

Thank you for reading my blog for this day, and may:

The LORD bless you, and keep you.
The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. AMEN.
