My Top 10 Hits – Week 355

Every Monday I post my all-new Top 10 Christian hit music chart based on personal preference and influenced by radio airplay from the previous week. It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back over 45 years. Here’s this week’s chart – for the week ending Sunday December 03RD 2023 – the 355TH week of this current era that began on Presidents’ Day Weekend of 2017:

TW LW WKS SONG TITLE ARTIST / SITE
1 1 7 I Thank God

10 10 6 Faithfully TobyMac

# 1 This Week In:
2022 – “Ain’t Nobody” – Cody Carnes
2021 – “On Our Way” – MercyMe Ft. Sam Wesley
2020 – “Every Step Of The Way” – Cade Thompson
2019 – “Dead Man Walking” – Jeremy Camp
2018 – “Even Then” – Micah Tyler
2017 – “Control (Somehow You Want Me)” – Tenth Avenue North

COCHREN & CO. – Ascending into my Top 3 this week is the current hit from Michael Cochren and his band. Their 7TH hit since 2019 continues to gain momentum. It tells the story of the start of his salvation – on a Tuesday night – in a “Parking Lot”. On a personal note – it comes real close to telling the story of the start of my own salvation 17 years ago – on a 2-lane road – at dawn.

This concludes another weekend of blog posts. I’ll do it again with the new weekend – and 3 new entries – known as #TravelThursday, #SundayScripture, and #MusicMonday.
