My Top 10 Hits – Week 286

Every Monday I post my all-new Top 10 Christian hit music chart based on personal preference and influenced by radio airplay from the previous week. It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back nearly 45 years. Here’s this week’s chart – for the week ending Sunday August 07TH 2022 – the 286TH week of this current era that began on Presidents’ Day Weekend of 2017:

2019 – “Raise A Hallelujah” – Bethel Music
2018 – “Dream Small” – Josh Wilson
2017 – “Wonder” – Hillsong UNITED

UNSPOKEN – Their 5TH hit in 5 years becomes their 1ST # 1 smash on my chart after a cumulative 43 weeks. They’ve come close in the past. “Miracle” spent 3 weeks at # 2 early in 2018. I got to see Unspoken LIVE in concert last year. They were one of the opening acts for TobyMac. In fact they kicked-off the 3½-hour concert. Another one of the opening acts was Cochren & Co. It’s good to have those 3 acts together in my Top 5 this week !

900 – This is my 900TH blog post since the post-hiatus revival in January 2018. I don’t really count the blog posts that were done before that on Myspace, WordPress, and Facebook. Thank You everyone for continuing to check-in with this blog each weekend from Thursday to Monday. I appreciate you immensely. It’s on to 1,000 !

This concludes another weekend of blog posts. I’ll do it again with the new weekend – and 4 new entries – known as #TravelThursday, #RetroFriday#SundayScripture, and #Top10Monday.

Your likes, follows, and comments are always appreciated. Thank You for being part of my online ministry to share God’s Good News and win souls for Christ through His music. I’m also on Twitter and Flickr.

Be blessed my friends !  May our God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2017 – “Wonder” – Hillsong UNITED

STILL DREAMING SMALL – Ascending to the top of my chart exactly 4 years ago was Josh Wilson’s debut hit “Dream Small”. It’s a peculiar title for a Christian song, but once you hear the lyrics you understand the point that Josh is trying to make. Our God is a God of big prayers and big dreams, for He is almighty. But Josh reminds us that the little things along the way – you may think that they are irrelevant – but they matter too. Simple moments change the world. Just let Jesus use you where you are.

SUMMER OF 2022 – Don’t look now, but the summer is more than half-over. This is the 9TH week of the 15-week summer that started on Memorial Day Weekend (last weekend of May) and ends on Labor Day Weekend (first weekend of September). As is tradition I’ll do a #CountUp of my Top 10 hits of the summer later in September. Right now a couple of former # 1 hits are battling it out for the # 1 spot of the entire summer. This summer it may be a solo artist with the top song of the summer for the first time during this era.

DEBUT ARTIST – I know. I always say this. I love a debut artist. I love an artist making his or her very first appearance on my chart. This week it’s David Leonard. He was once one-half of All Sons & Daughters. You may be familiar with “Great Are You Lord” from their 2013 LIVE album. David’s been solo over the past several years, and now he’s got a breakthrough hit at U.S. Christian Radio. Here’s the official music video for his uplifting #GoodLord:
