PAT BARRETT – His “Beautiful Life” stays atop my chart for a 2ND week, and I’ve incorporated it into my next sermon titled “Music & Lyrics”. In this 4TH week of Summer here in the U.S.A. it appears that it could very well be the runaway # 1 smash of the season.
TOP 40 OF 400 – This October I’ll present my Top 40 songs of the first 400 weeks of this chart. Right now – Cochren & Co.’s “Church (Take Me Back)” is right in the middle at # 20 on the chart. It also rose to # 1 on this weekend exactly 5 years ago.
