It’s time for the final ‘Saturday Night Retro’ of 2009, and it’s the classic Christmas tune heard on the radio during every Christmas season of the entire 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. After four decades it’s clearly become the most-played Christmas song on the radio of the entire rock era. My 40-month celebration on God’s fantastic journey that He created especially for me continues through this whimsical month of December 2009. It all went down on an unsuspecting me on a random weekday morning in August of 2006. God knew exactly what He was up to at the time, and I fell right into His open arms. He rescued me from the darkness, saved me from hell’s gates, and urged me to follow Him. I did. I continue to enthusiastically and overwhelmingly trust Him and love Him with all of my mind, heart, and soul. He is my highest priority in this new Life.

This week my brother in Texas provides the ‘Funny’. He’s a HUGE ice hockey fan (and former player). He sent me this hilarious montage of Randy Moller goal calls. Randy played in the NHL for about 13 seasons during the 1980s and into the 1990s. Nowadays he’s the play-by-play announcer for the Florida Panthers on South Florida’s Sports Talk 790 AM ‘The Ticket’.
