CALEB & JOHN & MADISON & TAYLOR & LOGAN – Their collaboration of “Somebody Like Me” ascends to the mountaintop of my chart this week – becoming my 101ST # 1 smash of the current era. Just as Cain did with their first 2 radio songs – Caleb & John have now hit # 1 with their first 2 radio songs as well. (Cain is credited with their 3RD # 1.)

SUMMER OF 2024 – This is Week 7 of our 15-week Summer (starting with Memorial Day Weekend and ending with Labor Day Weekend here in the U.S.A.). As is tradition here on #CountUp – I’ll present “My Top 10 Hits” of the Summer after it’s over. It’ll publish on Wednesday September 04TH 2024. So far – Pat Barrett’s “Beautiful Life” is # 1 for the Summer, but that could change soon.

PATRICK MAYBERRY – His “Lead On Good Shepherd” is on my chart for its 30TH week in a row. That includes 22 weeks in a row in my Top 5, and 14 weeks in a row at either # 1 or # 2. Last Sunday morning – the Worship Pastor at my Homestead Florida church made a spontaneous decision (after we talked about the song) to add it to the Praise & Worship set for the morning. He, his wife, his daughter, and I sang it as our 2ND of 4 songs. We sounded good. The song sounded good. It’s got powerful lyrics. I have a feeling that it’ll be a regular worship song on Sunday mornings.

TOP 40 OF 400 – This October I’ll present my Top 40 songs of the first 400 weeks of this chart. Patrick Mayberry’s “Lead On Good Shepherd” ties the record 30 weeks set back in March of 2019 when Tauren Wells’ “Known” did it as well. “Known” is currently # 21 on my Top 40 chart.

After 3 weeks off – “The Prodigal” is back on. It returns to the # 9 position that it held during its last 4 weeks on my chart through the entire month of May.
