SUMMER OF 2023 – It’s Week 5 of 15 of the Summer of ’23. As is tradition I’m tracking the biggest songs of the summer on my chart from U.S. Memorial Day Weekend (last Sunday of May) to U.S. Labor Day Weekend (first Sunday of September). I’ll present a special Top 10 chart on Wednesday September 06TH 2023 of those big summer hits that we’re singing along to for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ !

CHARTBUSTING – Sitting just outside of my Top 10 this week is the new one from Chris Tomlin – “Holy Forever”. It’s the 2ND radio single from his 2022 album “Always”. It will be Chris’s 9TH hit on my chart over the past 331 weeks. His first hit was my # 1 smash exactly 6 years ago. “Holy Forever” is a wonderful song of Praise & Worship to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Almighty:

And now they’ve got – not just my new # 1 smash – but the new # 1 smash from coast-to-coast at U.S. Christian radio. It’s the 4TH # 1 smash on my chart for Toby – and 3RD for Zach. #Cornerstone

CHARTBUSTING – Sitting just outside of my Top 10 this week is the new one from David Leonard and Josh Baldwin. “Every Hour” is the follow-up to David’s “Good Lord” and Josh’s “There Is Freedom”. It’s a testimony as to why we need our Lord. He’s our fortress. He’s our hiding place. He’s our shelter where we’re safe. He’s freed us. He’s called us by name. He’s our Redeemer. He’s our saving grace.

CHRISTIAN PAUL – I love a debut artist on my chart. Christian Paul is up next with his emerging summertime smash at U.S. Christian Radio with a sound that can be described as Pop meets Soul meets Gospel. His “Yes I Am” is lighting-up the radio airwaves.

K-LOVE FAN AWARDS 2023 – That was a great show on TBN this past Friday night. I declined to live-tweet during the show like I have in past years. I really wanted to simply sit on my new living room couch in my new home, relax, and enjoy the show without interruption. I got to do just that, and I was singing and dancing along. Brandon Lake had a very good night with his “Gratitude” towards God. You can check-out all of the winners here. 2 more encores of the show air this upcoming Friday night at 8 PM and 10 PM EDT on TBN, or anytime on the TBN app.
