This telemarketer is apparently working on behalf of AT&T, and they may be trying to sell their high-speed Internet DSL services. They’ve been calling me not just today – but pretty much every day for weeks. They call me at all times during the day and into the night – usually twice or three times during any given day.
The joke is on them. I never answer the phone. Doing so would be the dumbest thing that I could possibly do because it would send an electronic signal back to their automated system stating that my telephone number is indeed a legitimate one with an actual human being answering it. The floodgates would then be flung wide open for junk sales business galore.
