My Top 10 Hits – Week 315

Every Monday I post my all-new Top 10 Christian hit music chart based on personal preference and influenced by radio airplay from the previous week. It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back nearly 45 years. Here’s this week’s chart – for the week ending Sunday February 26TH 2023 – the 315TH week of this current era that began on Presidents’ Day Weekend of 2017:

1 2 6 The Lord’s Prayer (It’s Yours)
[1ST week @ # 1]
Matt Maher
2 1 11 My Story Your Glory Matthew West
3 3 13 I See Grace Micah Tyler
4 6 2 Running Home Cochren & Co.
5 5 3 I’m So Blessed Cain
6 4 11 First Things First Consumed By Fire
7 7 22 Love Me Like I Am for King & Country Ft. Jordin Sparks

9 9 4 I Believe It (The Life Of Jesus) Jon Reddick
10 10 8 Gratitude Brandon Lake

# 1 This Week In:
2022 – “Jesus Is Coming Back” – Jordan Feliz Ft. Mandisa & Jonathan Traylor
2021 – “Say I Won’t” – MercyMe
2020 – “Almost Home” – MercyMe
2019 – “Maybe It’s OK” – We Are Messengers
2018 – “Gracefully Broken” – Matt Redman Ft. Tasha Cobbs Leonard
2017 – “Love Broke Thru” – TobyMac

MATT MAHER – Musician Matt Maher has been singing for God since 2000, but I had never heard of him until 2017 when I began hearing his recurrents on K-LOVE. In 2018 he hit my chart for the first time with the fast-paced “What A Friend”. It was a # 1 smash in May 2018. His 2020 hit “Alive & Breathing” reached # 2, and it spent 25 weeks in a row on my chart. And now he’s back at # 1 with his 3RD hit – “The Lord’s Prayer (It’s Yours)”.

This concludes another weekend of blog posts. I’ll do it again with the new weekend – and 4 new entries – known as #TravelThursday, #RetroFriday#SundayScripture, and #Top10Monday.
