It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back almost 50 years. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE 2 – Great movie. 4 stars. A+. I saw it at my local movie theatre on opening day a couple of Fridays ago, and the theatre was more than half full. It was wonderful to see so many people watching the movie with me. It’s a great sequel to the March 2018 original that was a surprise smash. While the original focused on how MercyMe’s 2001 platinum smash “I Can Only Imagine” came to be – this one focuses on their 2017 hit “Even If” and the 16 years since their first big hit. (“Even If” was my 3RD # 1 smash of this current era of my chart back in April 2017.)

ONE-HIT WONDER – Benjamin William Hastings – formerly of Hillsong Worship and Hillsong UNITED – teamed-up with Blessing Offor to create “That’s The Thing About Praise” in May and June of 2023. It reached my Top 5 for 2 weeks before falling off my chart.
