It’s after 9:30 PM EDT on a Monday night, and in just about an hour or so I’ll be headed to bed for another 6½ hours of sleep (if I’m lucky). I’ve got another busy day in store for me at work, but I love my coworkers and I love my job. The last 8 months at work have been by far the best 8 months of my entire 23-year Air Force career ! Thank You God for blessing me with that !
Thank You God for also blessing me with the talents necessary to create and maintain this blog every day. I recently received another nice comment regarding this blog. It was again referred to as a ministry. Since all of my friends already attend Life Pointe Church I am using this blog to get the good word out on my best friend Jesus Christ. He is glorious. He is almighty. There is no other like Him. If you wish to get to know Him then just let me know. I’ll tell you all about Him. I’ve got plenty of time to share with you what He has done for me. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you live, or what you do. He is ready to meet you.

The Road Rage Files – Chapter 22
Location – Stopped at the traffic light in the right-hand lane eastbound on Biscayne Drive (SW 288TH St.) at Speedway Boulevard (SW 137TH Ave.) right at the northern city limits of Homestead. (This is one of the most dangerous intersections in the Homestead area.)
Scenario – This car driven by an apparent female with dark sunglasses on while talking on a cell phone approaches my car from the rear, and decides that she can’t wait for the light to turn green so that I can proceed through the intersection on my way back to the base. She proceeds to pull in to the empty middle lane, and then make a right-hand turn into Homestead (without stopping no doubt) while missing hitting the front of my car by less than a foot. A couple of seconds later the light turned green, and I proceeded forward.
My Thoughts – This is a lady with no patience who was obviously in a hurry to get somewhere in Homestead real fast with no regard at all to common courtesy, safety, or the law. If she continues to drive like that then she will probably become a sad statistic.

Here are some things that I resolve to do during this upcoming holiday week:

Wear a green shirt tomorrow to celebrate my Irish heritage in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. (I’m 50% Irish in case you didn’t know.)

Eat Chinese food for Lunch tomorrow to celebrate my love of foods that are green – such as broccoli.

Go to Publix tomorrow afternoon after work to do some serious shopping for food. Yes Venus and Kristina – even though I don’t cook my own food I still eat food.

Get a tattoo on my lower-right thigh with Jesse. -
Wash and dry bath towels twice this week.

Prepare for the WORM. (This only makes sense to my coworkers.)

Shave on Tuesday night.

Go out clubbing with Paul. -
Attend Life Group this Wednesday night and arrive before Nancy.

Serve at the ‘Moonlight Easter Egg Hunt’ on Good Friday night. (Visit easterinhomestead.com for the 411.)

Induct another ‘Chris Day’ into ‘The Chris Day Club’.

Get a haircut with Travis at Woody’s Barber Shop.
