2019 – “Well Done” – The Afters
2018 – “Lions” – Skillet

CHRIS TOMLIN – He begins 2026 the same way he ended 2025 – atop my chart. “How Good It Is” spends its 4TH week at # 1. It’s also rebounding back up the chart nationally due to renewed airplay on those stations that played only Christmas music for 4 weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas. It’s good to get back to normal on the radio. Incoming – new music from some of our favorite artists – and some emerging artists.

ONE-HIT WONDER – I can’t believe that Cade Thompson is still a one-hit wonder. He arrived on my chart on Thanksgiving Weekend of 2020. The following weekend – “Every Step Of The Way” ascended from # 8 to # 1 – and it stayed at # 1 for 12 weeks in a row. It spent a total of 26 weeks on my chart through May of 2021. It was my # 3 hit overall of 2021, and it’s my # 5 hit overall since my chart was rebooted almost 9 years ago.

SPOTIFY – You can hear “My Top 10 Hits” anytime by accessing my CountUp playlist on Spotify. All 10 hits are there from top to bottom. You can hear them in order from # 1 to # 10, or you can shuffle them. My playlist will be updated every weekend (usually before the actual chart is presented here on Mondays). You can link to it here.

Your likes, follows, and comments are always appreciated. Thank You for being part of my online ministry to share God’s Good News and win souls for Christ through His music. God used loud music on the radio in South Florida to reach me in August of 2006. I’ve been testifying about Him ever since.

Be blessed my friends !  May our God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

TOP 25 OF 2025 – It’s my final chart of 2025, and it looks just like last week’s chart with no change at all. That should change with next week’s chart, as my favorite radio stations return to regular Christian hit music programming. I heard the brand-new Phil Wickam song for the first time on Christmas Morning, and “Homesick For Heaven” sounds like the first big hit of 2026. But before then – tomorrow – Tuesday December 30TH 2025 – I’ll present my special year-end chart – My Top 25 Of 2025. Speaking of Phil Wickham … #ToBeContinued

ONE-HIT WONDERStephen Stanley from Mansfield Georgia is a guitarist, pianist, drummer, songwriter, and singer. He leads worship at Crossroads Baptist Church (40 miles ESE of Atlanta) where his dad Brandon is the Lead Pastor. In April and May 2021 he scored a hit on my chart that peaked for 2 weeks at # 9 – “No Hopeless Soul”.

Spoiler Alert: 4 of my Top 10 songs above will appear on the year-end-chart – and perhaps a 5TH song as well.

ONE-HIT WONDERMatty Mullins scored a # 1 smash on my chart in November 2020 with “No Hold On Me”. You may know him as the longtime lead singer of Memphis May Fire. He’s also the new lead singer of Anberlin. If you have a really good memory, and you’ve been following my chart since the mid-to-late-2000s then you may remember 3 hits that Anberlin placed on my chart back then – long before Matty joined the band.

2017 – “Control (Somehow You Want Me)” – Tenth Avenue North

CHRIS TOMLIN – 3 weeks ago I hinted that his 11TH hit on my chart was on the verge of becoming his 4TH # 1 smash, and so it is. “How Good It Is” ascends to the pinnacle. It’s the first single off his 18TH studio album – “The King Is Still The King”. It’s a ready-made Sunday Morning Praise + Worship song for church bands – with lyrics taken straight from Psalms 92, 98, 100, and 113.

ONE-HIT WONDERBuilding 429 – named after Ephesians 4:29 – scored a HUGE # 1 smash in October and November 2019 with “Fear No More”. In addition to its 6 consecutive weeks at # 1 – it also spent 7 consecutive weeks at # 2. To this day it is still one of my Top 40 songs of the past 461 weeks (based on chart performance). It was actually the band’s last big hit after 15 years of hits on the radio. Nowadays lead singer Jason Roy is the only remaining member. He continues touring with new musicians supporting him.
