Every Monday I post my all-new Top 10 Christian hit music chart based on personal preference and influenced by radio airplay from the previous week. It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back almost 50 years. Here’s this week’s chart – for the week ending Sunday September 20TH 2026 – the 501ST week of this current era that began on Presidents’ Day Weekend of 2017:

MATT MAHER – He’s holding on at # 2 for the 2ND week in a row, and I’m thinking that it’s “Gonna Be Alright” for him. If he makes it to # 1 then it would be his 3RD # 1 smash (out of 4 songs). His only other non-# 1 smash was in 2020 when “Alive & Breathing” spent 5 weeks at # 2 and spent 25 weeks on my chart. That was such a great uplifting song for such a dark uncertain period of time (during the COVID pandemic).

My # 17 hit during my first 3½ years of salvation in Christ from August 2006 to January 2010 is the first of 5 hits from the guys from upstate South Carolina known as Eleventyseven. “Love In Your Arms” was their 3RD radio single overall, and it was their debut single from their August 2007 album “Galactic Conquest”. This is what happens when you combine pop, punk, and synth to sing about God:

Next week it’s my # 18 hit, and it’s from a band that hit # 4 in 2008 with a long-running hit – and they also spent 3 weeks at # 1 last year !
