It’s the continuation of a weekly hobby that goes back almost 50 years. PETER BURTON – Last week he quietly entered my chart with his follow-up song that took “So Long” to arrive. While his debut smash “Where Would I Be” entered my chart early in 2026 (January) – long before it was receiving substantial radio airplay – “So Long” is entering late – long after it began playing on the radio and establishing itself as another hit. It’s currently in the Top 20 nationwide. Now it’s Top 10 here.
We’re up to my # 23 hit from my Salvation Era, and it’s from the Columbus Ohio band Everyday Sunday. They were quite popular at Christian radio during the mid-to-late-2000s. “Let’s Go Back” was their 2ND of 5 hits on my chart, and it was the biggest of them all. It peaked at # 3 for 6 non-consecutive weeks, and it spent 17 weeks on my chart in 2007.
